请问应用技术大学能授予博士学位吗？

我也认为应用技术大学不能授予博士学位，不过在招聘上写着“PhD Studentship in the field of evolutionary computation” ”The workplace will be at the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg (www.fhv.at) in Dornbirn“。
我才有点疑惑，我可不想辛辛苦苦读个学位回去不被承认。
