HR Manager in Wien
Location: Wien, Austria

With over 70000 employees worldwide, there are currently about 8000 working overseas and that number is growing. The operation in Austria is based in Wien, Austria.
Main Duties/Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the HR Director for North Europe, you will be responsible for:
· Developing a recruitment plan in line with company’s requirement, selecting the appropriate recruitment channel and implementing it.
· Providing professional HR best practice and assisting the HRManager for North Europe to provide general HR management to the office.
· Contributing to policy development regarding HR policies and ensuring they are compliant with labour laws.
· Advising the management team on the development of positive employee relations and employee satisfaction levels and helping to resolve complex grievance and disciplinary issues.
· Providing a central point of contact for locally employed employees in North Europe including responding to queries and distributing and requesting information.
· Investigating employee benefits and benchmarking regularly to ensure that company pay and benefits are competitive and attract high calibre employees.
· Maintaining employee development plans to support individual performance and business goals.
· Collecting the training needs and providing learning and development programmes that support the business strategy and employee development.
· HR Back Office and Support. Ensure that all HR data (permissible under the Data Protection Act) is captured and recorded, payroll information is processed correctly and retention plans are regularly reviewed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
·Working in high-tech industries in an HR role for at least 5 years, ideally within Telecoms, your HR experience includes understanding and implementing employment law requirements, policy review, recruitment as well as administration procedures
·Excellent knowledge and understanding of best HR practice
·Working with and managing within different cultural environments and managerial methodologies, where experience of the Chinese working culture in particular would be an advantage.

·Self motivated and results-focused
·Good interpersonal skills in terms of influencing, negotiating and listening
·Fluent Chinese and English both written and spoken (English is the Company language) as well as excellent German.
