What is outside the universe?

The truth is that the universe is not "in" anything. The universe is
defined to be everything, including space and time itself. Since the
universe includes all space, ther can be nothing "outside" the universe.
The human mind is not capable of understanding what it means for the
universe to be everything, with nothing outside of it - not even empty
space. There are no analogies between this and things we experience in
everyday life.
You may have heard talk in places about other universes. Mathematically,
it is possible to have other places where space and time are different
and unconnected to what we think of as space and time. But this is pure
speculation. Even if other universes did exist, there would be no
connection with our own.
I'm sure this hasn't answered your question fully, but, again, I believe
that the concepts involved are beyond any human's true understanding. I
know it is beyond my own.
Sincerely,
Kurtis Williams
